Goldsmiths, University of London was announced as one of the UK's coolest
brands last night at the exclusive PlayCool event held at The Bridge in
SE1, a unique cavernous venue under the arches at London Bridge.
This is the fifth time Goldsmiths has received this accolade, taking its
place this year amongst brands as diverse as Virgin, Aston Martin, innocent
and the Eden Project.
Goldsmiths stormed the show with a fun, innovative and interactive stand at
the event, showcasing the Department of Design, which attracted a huge
amount of attention. The students recreated a design production line
whereby visitors gave a brief to one student, which was then handed along
the line and developed into a visible artefact turned around within 30
minutes and available on display.
