Trip to Shakespeare's Globe Theatre
Wednesday 4 July 2007

On the Wednesday afternoon, it is traditional for BCLA conferences to go on a “field trip”:

Goldsmiths is not far from Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre (1 station away by train + a 12-15 min. walk past glimpses of medieval London such as Southwark Cathedral, the ruins of Winchester Palace, Sir Francis Drake’s Golden Hinde, and then along the river); and as the matinee on 4 July is Love’s Labour’s Lost - a marvellous play for our topic! we have reserved a number of tickets for this performance.

These are limited and allocated strictly on a “first come first served” basis, and include return train ticket.
These cost £20, £24, £31 or £37. (PLEASE NOTE: Tickets at £24, £31 and £37 are now sold out!)

If you are interested, can you please signal it in an email (folly@gold.ac.uk) AND book through the registration form as soon as possible.
