Laptop Clinic:

12pm - 4pm Monday - Friday

The Helpdesk operates an appointment-based laptop clinic for students requiring assistance with connecting their personal laptop to the College's residential or wireless networks. Due to the high demand for this service, bookings are taken to avoid long queues and unnecessary waiting times. If you require help with your laptop, please contact the Helpdesk to make an appointment.

The IT Services Help Desk

The Helpdesk is located on the Ground Floor of the Rutherford Building and its remit is to provide a "one stop shop for the bulk of services offered in the Building. Here you can seek assistance with anything from general building queries to IT, Copy Centre, Lending, Library and Media Services enquiries. Members of staff from IT Services, Library and Copy Centre will be on hand on the front desk to attend to your queries and refer them as necessary.

Enquiries concerning the Audiovisual Collection and Languages Resource Centre should however still be addressed to the 2nd floor.

What the Help Desk cannot do.

This converged service is a new one for Goldsmiths Library and IT Services and as such we would welcome feedback on our new facilities and revised services. Our efforts to improve the services that we provide to our users are ongoing and we would love to hear from you about all aspects of the service.
