Research interests

Anthony’s work transverses issues of biopolitics, digital cultures, dataveillance, aesthetics, mental health, micro-fascism, politics, philosophy and psychoanalysis. Specifically, his research engages with the practice and legacy of Frantz Fanon, the coloniality of institutional structures, schizoanalysis and the ethico-aesthetic, and zapatismo, the political philosophy of the Zapatista resistants.

Anthony is the author of Resistance, Revolution and Fascism: Zapatismo and Assemblage Politics and an editor, with Rob White and David Hancock, of Spaces of Crisis and Critique: Heterotopias Beyond Foucault. He is currently completing a monograph on digital media, psychometrics and the alt-Right provisionally titled The Mass Psychology of Fascism in the Age of Machines: Data, Surveillance and Control.
